High Density Vibrations in Virginia Beach

We caught wind that one of our favorite artists, DENM, was playing a show in Virginia Beach. Neither of us had ever been there before and when we did a little research, recognized the surf scene out there - the decision was easy.

This wasn’t just a concert. It became the inspiration behind our very first t-shirt design - High Density Vibrations. We wanted to create something special for the moment, something we could hand to DENM as a thank-you for the inspiration he’s given us through his music.

From concept to creation, we did it all: sketching the design, creating the tag, burning the screens, mixing up our own ink colors, and testing on blanks until everything lined up just right. Once we had the final shirt printed, we packed our bags and split.

Virginia Beach was very welcoming. The locals told us we hit the sweet spot: pre-tourist season - so we were able to take it all at our speed. Mornings started with dolphins swimming around, stopping at the local surf shops, coffee at Three Ships Coffee, poke bowls from Aloha Snacks, and smoothies at The Green Cat. And by night, we were posted up at The Bunker, ready to catch DENM’s set and celebrate the drop of HOT & GLASSY.

We laid low with the band before the show, and after we were able to share just how much of an impact DENM has had on the creation of Kismet. His music has been a soundtrack to this journey: building something out of nothing, choosing joy no matter what came before, and living fully in the now.

This trip reminded us why we started Kismet Supply in the first place. To chase inspiration. To connect. To create. And above all, to Get Out There.
